Your contribution makes us Beta

ATO Beta
13 March 2018

You’ve probably heard this before, but you’re awesome! At ATO Beta we value the input you provide when you complete our tests and provide feedback. You’re helping make positive changes and improvements to ATO products and services.

Some of you have been with us from Beta’s beginning, and have taken part in lots of tests. Some of you are brand new to Beta, and we welcome you with open arms!

We’ll take a quick trip down memory lane, and talk about some of the key projects you’ve helped shape. So far you’ve contributed to the:

  • ATO Community – by guiding the initial rollout and trying it out in its Beta phase
  • superannuation digital tools – when you told us how to make it easy for you to find out if you’re owed super
  • ato.gov.au navigation – by telling us how to make information easier to find
  • ATO app – by testing it on an ongoing basis so we can continually improve its features

This year, we will be conducting a major discovery piece on the entire ATO digital experience. We are currently looking at the ATO’s digital landscape, your experience and expectations for the future.

We have more tests coming up very soon. If you know someone who would like to get involved, don’t hesitate to share this post or forward one of our emails to them!

We need your help!

Not long ago, we published a blog post where we talked about all the things you said you wanted more of. Now we are working towards tailoring our content to match your preferences.

We need your help to make sure we’re sending you content that’s most relevant to you.

For example, if you’re a tax professional, let us know and overtime we’ll send you tests specific to your industry.

This can be done when you subscribe for the first time, or using the ‘Manage preferences’ link found in the footer of any email we’ve sent you.
